Can you tell us how you first met Kim and about your initial experiences?

I first met Kim on my sister's recommendation. My sister and her husband had purchased a gorgeous century home in Parkdale, which they remained thrilled about. Kim had an intimate understanding of the real estate market and quickly developed an in-depth understanding of what I was looking for.

What was it like when you first started looking at properties with Kim? What were you most interested and how did Kim help you narrow down your choices?

Kim was down to earth, a straight shooter and very efficient. What surprised me was that if I expressed interest in a particular house Kim would tell me ALL of the potential negative aspects of the house BEFORE a home inspection. I haven't had that kind of experience with a real estate agent before and it certainly builds a trust.

Once you found a home that you were interested in, how did you proceed and what aid did Kim provide?

Once an interest was expressed, Kim would find out when we could see it as soon as possible and also what other potential buyers were interested in it. Kim provided me with prices on nearby homes for the past couple of years. Kim would get in touch with a home inspector as soon as possible. She also has a breadth of knowledge about potential challenges like a mutual drive, a property encroachment, possible termites, etc. so at least you would be going in with your eyes wide open.

Tell us about how your negotiations went once you found a home you wanted. What assistance did Kim give you throughout this process?

Kim always seemed to understand where the other side was coming from, be it the agent or the home-owner. She was excellent at anticipating strategy. She was also respectful of my limits too.

How did everything go once you closed the deal? Also, how have you been enjoying your new home?

Once the deal was closed, everything proceeded perfectly. She also put me in touch with the best movers ever! I love my new home. It's beautiful, quiet and gives me peace of mind.
