Can you tell us how you first met Kim and about your initial experiences?
I met Kim when I bought my first home in 1999. She did a great job showing me properties that fit my criteria. Kim understood my geographic and financial parameters and showed quality properties, making my choice much easier. I found a great house in the location I wanted. When I had to sell my house because of a work transfer Kim was the only agent I called. I knew she would get a good price for my home and her team committed their time and marketing resources to sell my house for a very good price.
What did Kim do to guide you in your market research when you were setting a price? How did you come to your final decision?
Kim researched recent sales in the area and visited properties on the market in order to accurately evaluate my property and set the sale price. We discussed marketing techniques and changes to the property, which would encourage buyers to make an offer.
How did you prepare your house for showing and/or being photographed? What are your thoughts on how the open houses were handled?
The house was prepared for showings by doing some minor repairs, painting and retiling the kitchen floor. Kim's photographer took excellent shots for the listing, showing the best features of the house. Kim's team did an excellent job organizing and advertising the open houses.
How do you feel Kim handled the negotiation? How did the negotiations go and what had been your expectations?
Kim handled the negotiations with my interests in mind. They went smoothly and met our expectations with respect to the final price and terms of sale.
How did the final closing of the sale go? Looking back is there anything you would have done differently? Is there anything that Kim did that you particularly appreciated?
For both the purchase and sale, Kim and her team were there to assist on the day of closing. Kim kept me updated through the entire process, keeping me involved and providing valuable guidance throughout.
