My Experiences With Kim In High Park And Parkdale

Can you tell us how you first met Kim and about your initial experiences?

I'm not exactly sure how I first met Kim. I do remember that what stuck in my mind with Kim versus other agents was that Kim was no-nonsense. She really knew her stuff and would tell you right off whether a house was worth the asking price or not. She wasn't just trying to make a sale.

What did Kim do to guide you in your market research when you were setting a price? How did you come to your final decision?

Kim performs a full market evaluation for the area. She shows you everything that is for sale, and everything that sold within the last year. This allows a vendor to get a true feel for what is happening in the market. The final decision on what to ask for my home was reached using this key information. Kim doesn't just tell you what she thinks your home is worth - she shows you why.

How did you prepare your house for showing and/or being photographed? What are your thoughts on how the open houses were handled?

Kim gives excellent advice on how to properly prepare a home for showings & open houses. She tells you exactly what should be done, and what doesn't need to be done. Kim handles of open houses with the utmost professionalism, and I have always felt completely confident leaving my home in Kim's hands.

How do you feel Kim handled the negotiation? How did the negotiations go and what had been your expectations?

The negotiation period is when Kim really shines. Kim's professional, nonsensical attitude make a client feel confident and at ease, knowing that their interests are being attentively looked after. With Kim at the negotiation table, dealings always went well.

How did the final closing of the sale go? Looking back is there anything you would have done differently? Is there anything that Kim did that you particularly appreciated?

The closings went fine. Kim took care of everything that needed to be done ie -inspections, waiving of clauses, visits etc. The thing that I appreciate most about Kim is her dedication. She takes the time ensure that you understand, she returns phone calls promptly, and she is willing to "hold your hand" while guiding you through the stressful moments of the purchase/sale.
