Can you tell us how you first met Kim and about your initial experiences?

I met Kim when, I believe, she was just starting into the real estate business. Kim was working with another agent at the time. Kim was anxious to learn as much as she could and this was reflected in her relationship with me as well. Kim helped my partner and I purchase our first home. My first impressions of Kim were of a friendly, straight forward professional who wanted to do the best she could for me with the purchase of my new home. Kim has since represented me on the sale and purchase of 3 more homes.

What did Kim do to guide you in your market research when you were setting a price? How did you come to your final decision? What initial steps were you taking at this time to find your new home, and how did Kim guide you in this?

Kim was excellent at working with me on both the sale and purchases. On the sales front, Kim provided me with break downs of what was on the market, what were the immediate comparables, what the market area was and where buyers were coming from, and in each case, she outlined the best market technique to get me the highest possible dollar for my home. On the purchase front, Kim was always available to show me homes, she provided me with details of all of the communities I was interested in and when I saw a property that I was interested in putting an offer in on, she provided additional materials on comparable sales for that property, and worked with me to get the best deal I could on the purchase. Kim gets to know her clients and their preferences. I was able to trust her opinion on various properties and she was excellent at identifing properties that may not have been in my view if I looked myself. With the purchase of my first home, Kim was able to bring me into a home that was just about to be listed as she knew the home was exactly what I was looking for, and we were able to make a deal with the seller without it getting to market.

How do you feel Kim handled the negotiation? How did the negotiations go and what had been your expectations?

Kim knows how to close a deal, from both the perspective of seller and the buyer as she has represented me on both sides 3 or more times now. I never felt I left a penny on the table with my sales and I did not pay a penny more than I wanted to with my purchases. Kim brings her years of experince and her knowledge of the market into play and reperesented me well. In one case, I was going through a divorce and there was acrimony between my spouse and I, but Kim was able not only to broker between the buyer and seller, but also between my spouse and I, and she handled all the negotiations, even the ones between my ex and I with tact, sensitivity and professionalism.

What kind of guidance did Kim provide as you searched for a new home? Once you found a home that you were interested in, how did you proceed and what aid did Kim provide?

Kim was invaluable in outlining the pros and cons of various properties, communities and housing types. She patiently showed me over 50 properties in one of my purchases, and helped me find a property in just one day on another of my purchases.

How did both the final sale of your old home and the purchase of your new one go? Is there anything that Kim did during the entire process that you particularly appreciated?

Kim's friendly, professional and personal service made the ordeal of buying and selling a pleasure, and I will use no one else as long as she is around.
