Referred To Kim Kehoe To Buy My First Condo

Can you tell us how you first met Kim and about your initial experiences?

I was referred to Kim through friends of mine that had worked with her for the purchase of their first home. Kim made an excellent first impression when I first contacted her over the phone and also the first time we met in person. She was professional and well-organized. I could tell she knew her stuff and I was looking forward to working with her.

What was it like when you first started looking at properties with Kim? What were you most interested and how did Kim help you narrow down your choices?

I was in the market to purchase my first condo in downtown Toronto. I knew the basics of what I wanted, but Kim helped to define what was important to me in both the short and long term. She was knowledgable about the market area and she had a lot of insightful information about the specific condo developments I was considering. Thanks to Kim's advice I gained a better understanding of 'must have' versus 'nice to have' during my property search.

Once you found a home that you were interested in, how did you proceed and what aid did Kim provide?

Kim took the "bull by the horns" once I decided I was ready to make an offer. The demand for condos in the market area was high and Kim provided me with advice on how much to offer with my initial bid and even what a suitable deposit would be in order to create the right impression with the seller. She was able to organize a meeting with the seller the same day I was prepared to make the offer so that we could close the deal as efficiently as possible and avoid the possiblity of multiple offers. I really appreciated that she was putting my best interests first.

Tell us about how your negotiations went once you found a home you wanted. What assistance did Kim give you throughout this process?

The negotiations were not as stressful as I thought it would be. Kim was very confident in her approach and she was able to gain information from the selling agent that was useful in for me during the negotiation. It was great that we were able to hold the meeting in person and she was able to close the deal in my price point with even more than I expected!

How did everything go once you closed the deal? Also, how have you been enjoying your new home?

I don't take possession of my new place until September 1st, but the process up to this point has been a breeze. I was thoroughly impressed with Kim's professional advice and great service and I will be sure to recommend her to friends and family that are in the market to purchase or sell a property.
